Neverflat

Investigación y Desarrollo

The NEVERFLAT project, in which Ingartek participates, aims to develop and demonstrate in real-life settings an innovative, efficient, affordable, and user-friendly smart bi-directional charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs), directly contributing to a specific strategic objective of the 2Zero Partnership—developing affordable, inclusive, user-friendly charging infrastructure concepts and technologies that include vehicle and grid interaction.

Neverflat

NEVERFLAT will drive crucial advancements in core hardware and software infrastructure innovation, using cutting-edge technologies such as machine learning (ML) predictive models, simulations, and wide bandgap (WBG) semiconductors. It will focus on optimizing the deployment and placement of novel charging solutions, improving their strategic orchestration to enhance operational performance, grid stability, and renewable energy sources (RES) utilization.

The fully integrated and deployed charging solution will be validated in extensive urban and peri-urban environments through pilot sites in Germany, Romania, and Spain. This will showcase its potential for widespread adoption, user acceptance, and seamless interoperability across European country borders, helping to remove barriers to electric vehicle user acceptance.

The NEVERFLAT project is coordinated by Aarhus Universitet and involves a consortium of partners, including Ingartek Consulting SL, Fundación Tekniker, Fundació Institut de Recerca de l’Energia de Catalunya, Edentify Foundation MTU, Technische Universität Berlin, Grid & Co. GmbH, Hubject GmbH, Asociatia Beia – Grid Institut, Fundación Vitoria-Gasteiz Araba Mobility Lab Fundazioa, Centrul Roman al Energiei – CRE, Municipality of Alba Iulia, and Stansol Energy SL. The project has a total budget of €7.8 million and will run for three and a half years.
