The Basque Government has launched a new line of subsidies<\/b> for the drafting or updating of accessibility plans<\/b>. It will subsidise up to 85% of the drafting of municipal accessibility plans.<\/p>\n

5 MILLION EUROS IN AID<\/h2>\n

The grants are aimed at Basque local councils, smaller local entities, local autonomous bodies and private entities of public utility with a clear social purpose. The Basque Government will allocate 5 million euros to the subsidies: one million euros in 2024, two million euros in 2025 and the remaining two million euros in 2026.<\/p>\n

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 December 2023. At INGARTEK we have a team<\/i> <\/a><\/strong>with extensive experience in the development of accessibility plans<\/i><\/a>. We help local entities to improve their decision-making processes for the planning of urban space<\/b> in their municipality. Through accessibility plans we help to guarantee universal accessibility<\/b> to the main places in each municipality, whether they are public spaces or buildings.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with the corresponding municipal departments<\/i><\/a>, we analyse the most appropriate actions, always under criteria of sustainability and economic efficiency<\/b>, prioritising the actions that will have the greatest positive impact. With all this, we help not only to guarantee universal accessibility, but also to promote urban regeneration<\/b> and the success of the city’s public spaces.<\/p>\n
