{"id":25865,"date":"2022-11-04T12:01:37","date_gmt":"2022-11-04T11:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ingartek.com\/zbe-que-hacer-el-dia-despues-de-implantar-una-zbe\/"},"modified":"2023-02-28T16:04:29","modified_gmt":"2023-02-28T15:04:29","slug":"zbe-what-to-do-the-day-after-implementing-a-zbe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ingartek.com\/en\/zbe-what-to-do-the-day-after-implementing-a-zbe\/","title":{"rendered":"ZBE: What to do the day after implementing a zbe?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the Climate Change Law, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ingartek.com\/es\/zonas-de-bajas-emisiones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>low emission zone<\/b><\/a> is understood to be the area delimited by a public Administration, in exercise of its powers, within its territory, of a continuous nature, and in which <b>access, circulation and parking restrictions<\/b> <b>of vehicles<\/b> apply. to improve air quality and mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, according to the classification of vehicles by their level of emissions in accordance with the provisions of the current General Vehicle Regulations.<\/p>\n<h2>WHY ARE LEZS IMPLEMENTED?<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To improve air quality.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To decrease the use of VP in the short run<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To recover the public space with a distribution more in line with the modal share.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>IN WHAT TYPE OF MUNICIPALITIES CAN LOW EMISSION ZONES BE IMPLEMENTED?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><i>In municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants: it is mandatory.<\/i><\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><i>In municipalities with more than 20,000 inhabitants: it is mandatory if certain pollution values are exceeded, and it is generally recommended.<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>WHAT HAPPENS THE DAY AFTER IMPLANTING AN LEZ?<\/h2>\n<p>After implementing a low emission zone, mobility problems may arise, occasional congestion in the city due to vehicles expelled from the ZBE, problems in the DUM, in the parking lot&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>It is also necessary to measure the economic impact that the implementation of a low emission zone will have, especially on the local economy, and also the social and gender impact on the residents of the LEZ.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid these problems and measure all the necessary parameters, tools such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ingartek.com\/en\/mobility-and-traffic-studies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>traffic studies<\/b> <\/a>with traffic modeling tools with micro-simulation techniques are used. It is also important to carry out cost-benefit analysis and socio-economic studies with GIS tools.
