commuting habits and define measures adapted to the mobility reality of the environment and the organization itself.<\/p>\n<h3><b>The Challenge<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>One of the main challenges of the project was the high dependency on private vehicles for commuting, driven by free parking availability and existing limitations in the surrounding public transport options.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, factors such as schedules, travel flexibility, or certain mobility habits made it difficult to implement more sustainable alternatives among employees.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the analysis also identified real opportunities for improvement, as a significant portion of the staff lived near the workplace, opening up the possibility to promote walking, cycling, or car sharing.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Mobility Analysis and Diagnosis<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>For the project development, Ingartek conducted a detailed commuting analysis of the organization through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mobility surveys for employees<\/li>\n<li>Commute and accessibility analysis<\/li>\n<li>Study of mobility habits<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of public transport and surroundings<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of improvement opportunities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The diagnosis identified the main commuting patterns, detected limitations related to sustainable mobility, and analyzed potential measures adapted to the operational and geographic reality of the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the project included a participatory process aimed at involving employees during different phases of the development of the <b>Sustainable Commuting Plan (SCP)<\/b>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]<div class=\"q_icon_list\"><i class=\"qode_icon_font_awesome fa fa-check qode-ili-icon-holder transparent\" style=\"font-size: 20pxpx;color: #8b1f1c;\" ><\/i><p style=\"color:#8b1f1c;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 500;\">Proposed Solution<\/p><\/div>[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Based on the analysis, Ingartek developed a <b>Sustainable Commuting Plan (SCP)<\/b> tailored to the organization&#8217;s real mobility needs.<\/p>\n<p>The project defined various measures aimed at improving commuting and facilitating more sustainable and viable travel alternatives for employees.<\/p>\n<p>Among the actions proposed were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>promotion of walking and cycling<\/li>\n<li>promotion of car sharing<\/li>\n<li>awareness and sensitization actions<\/li>\n<li>improvement proposals related to public transport<\/li>\n<li>planning and monitoring of implemented measures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, a progressive action plan was defined to facilitate the future implementation and evolution of the <b>SCP<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Project Outcome<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The project allowed Salica Industria Alimentaria S.A. to gain a detailed understanding of its organization&#8217;s commuting patterns and identify real improvement opportunities tailored to the needs of the environment and employees.<\/p>\n<p>The analysis facilitated the definition of viable measures aimed at improving commuting, reducing private vehicle dependency, and moving towards a more efficient and sustainable mobility model.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the project established structured planning aligned with the new requirements related to <b>Sustainable Commuting Plans (SCP)<\/b> and <b>commuting management in organizations with high travel generation.<\/b>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;40px&#8221;]<div class=\"q_icon_list\"><i class=\"qode_icon_font_awesome fa fa-newspaper-o qode-ili-icon-holder transparent\" style=\"font-size: 20pxpx;color: #8b1f1c;\" ><\/i><p style=\"color:Related Articles;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 500;\">Related Articles<\/p><\/div>[vc_column_text]<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ingartek.com\/en\/mobility-to-work-plan-to-improve-employees-quality-of-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Commuting Plan to Improve Employee Quality of Life<\/em><\/a>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=&#8221;&#8221;
